On this forum, members can choose what Christology they most identify with as a profile tag.
To do this, simply go to your "Profile" page using the tabs at the top of the website page, "edit profile" on the right of the page you are taken to, click on the "personal" tab, and on that page near the bottom, you will see the option to set your "Christology".
Semi-Arian
To do this, simply go to your "Profile" page using the tabs at the top of the website page, "edit profile" on the right of the page you are taken to, click on the "personal" tab, and on that page near the bottom, you will see the option to set your "Christology".
You will see several options; Arian, Homoean, Heteroousian, Homoiousian, Semi Arian, Socinian, Prouparchic-Monarchian, Dynamic Monarchian, Adoptionist and Undecided.
Arian & Prouparchic-Monarchian
The "Arian" and "Prouparchic-Monarchian" options are simply for those wanting to keep it simple, and believes that only the Father is the true God, and that the Son is his subordinate who had a pre-human existence, whether he be "created" or "begotten".
Semi-Arian
"Semi Arian" is for believers who believe in some kind of general understanding that Jesus is "begotten out of the Father", yet not equal with him. Some Semi Arians may believe the Son to be somehow "eternal" or "co-eternal", yet no co-equal with the Father, whilst others believing he had a beginning despite his begetting.
Homoean
"Homoean" is a form of Arianism which believes that Jesus had a beginning and was “begotten” or “born out of the Father”, and is thus “like” or “similar to” God, but not sharing the same “being”, “substance” or “oneness” with the Father. This form of Proparchianism holds that whilst Jesus is “out of the Father” as the “creative method” on the basis of Bible verses such as Proverbs 8:22-24 and John 1:18, such has no bearing on his “substance” or “nature”, but asserts such terms are unbiblical and presumptuous.
Heteroousian
"Heteroousians" believe that Jesus has no connection to God's substance at all, and neither is he literally begotten from God, but that he was “created out of nothing" in the manner that other creatures of God are, with exception to the fact that Jesus would have been created “directly” by God Himself alone, whereas all other creatures are created “through Jesus” (Proverbs 8:30, Colossians 1:16).
Homoiousian
"Homoiousians" believe Jesus is of God’s substance, but that he was “begotten” (Proverbs 8:24, John 1:18) and then “separated” from God into a newly “created” conscious being (Proverbs 8:22), in a manner similar to that of Eve coming from Adam’s side (Genesis 2:21-22). In this sense, some Arians believe that Jesus is “eternal”, not in his personhood, but in his “nature”, and thus is “of like substance”, or “God’s kind”.
Socinian & Dynamic Monarchian
"Socinians" and "Dynamic Monarchians", also more commonly known as "Biblical Unitarians" (though not an exclusive term to non-preexistence believers) hold Jesus to have no pre-human existence, but that he was miraculously created as a human being in the womb of Mary before being taken to Heaven after his death and resurrection.
Adoptionist
"Adoptionists" are believers who deny the Virgin Birth account, and believe Jesus to be a pure man who came about from the sexual union of Joseph and Mary, and was adopted by God to be his Messiah.
Undecided
For anyone who can't make up their mind on their Christology, or are still exploring, this option is for them.
